My apologies for a fairly short entry here. As some of you may have gathered by my signature, I review webcomics (comic strips that are put on the internet, mostly created by amateurs though several mainstream companies have started edging onto the web once they realized there was a sizable group of intelligent readers there who were willing to spend money on comic-related merchandise). One of the strips I have reviewed (and read regularly) is called xkcd, a strip that uses stick-figure art to express various thoughts on mathematics, language, and society in general.
Naturally enough, xkcd will sneak over into the political realm from time to time. The latest strip did just that, in creating a parody of the Discovery Channel's commercial "The World is Just Awesome". Part of it was a shout-out to Barack Obama, as can be seen here:
http://xkcd.com/...
I'd post the image itself, but seeing it's not on an "approved" server, I decided to just post the link, especially as I don't have rights to the image. The specific shout-out is in the fifth row, first column.
Anyway, enjoy. And go out and read a webcomic today. ;)
