I just noticed a 45 day deletion notice, arrgh...so better late than...:
McCain's bumbling speech the other night was a stroke of genius.
If the only thing we learned from the Bush years is the power of lowered expectations and how THEY win with it, that would be a big plus. On the other hand, if setting the bar low is the path to victory then McSame's "Lime Jello Speech" is the most effective campaign tool since Ronnie Popular invented his life. Mere Bushisms pale before the ground hugging gas that candidate McLame's used to try to warm Obama's audience.
Like fumes from a train wreck of sulfur and chlorine tankers, his speech ooozzzzed across the land, threatening fish and household pets as well as humans. In a panic, the old media responded heroically by cutting away before any lives were lost.
There was however, what appeared to be nasty casualty. Over at FUX Network, a number of otherwise reliable batshit info-catapulters were observed writhing in concerned pain, and heard, apparently complaining,,, about the Green Speech.
So what's the point? Well - could it be that while everyone is admiring how great BO is, & how out of touch & how old McBush is, Hi-Fiving, saying BO will crush 'em in a debate,,, etc...
IMHO, it looks like the opening salvo of the old lowering of the expectation game, a Gooper fave.
and, Uh, Well - that's how Bush won in 2k, or at least got close enough for the supremes. IMHO
