Boy, I thought I was a high-maintenance chick. Hillary tops me and then some.
She has lost...period. Hillary isn't getting the nomination, but she is now, as the loser, demanding recognition.
The Clintons have just come with too great a price, even for a candidate and his supporters who are really truly willing to try to bring unity to the party.
Hillary states:
I want the nearly 18 million people who voted for me to be respected and heard
No Ms. Clinton, that can't be what you want. Their voices have been heard, just as the voices who voted for Dodd, Edwards and Richardson have been heard.....but Obama still won, and that is your problem.
Your lack of grace is appalling, your lack of concern for the future of this country you claim to wish blessings for is outright dangerous.
In a time of great promise, when the United States is sending its young to die in an unjust war, when we are so desperately in need of strength through unity, to the Clintons its still all about the Clintons.
I'm hoping that the vast majority of independents and democrats recognize the Clintons for the painful experience they have become and simply leave them to talk among themselves. It will mean harder work for a November victory, but it would be the best for the party and the future.
If a losing presidential candidate screams "But I'm really the winner!!" in the middle of the forest does she make any noise?
