This actually probably barely qualifies as a diary. But it made my day when I saw it, I haven't seen it diaried yet, and so I wanted to share it with you.
Today is obviously a day of celebration. I don't even think I could write a coherent diary about how emotional I got last night watching and listening to Barack Obama claim the Democratic nomination for President, or how much this day means to me after working so hard for so long.
Today is also a day of frustration and disappointment. I am angry that the ONLY thing the MSM is talking about today ISN'T Barack Obama securing his place in the record books, and the near-impossible task he and his supporters have achieved, both historically and politically.
And I'm especially angry that this moment for our nation and the world has been tainted, and that still, as a party, we cannot be sure and steadfast about our way forward, and we continue to agonize over whether we will be sabotaged from within.
But today...
the Hill leadership is speaking out.
Superdelegates are speaking out.
And powerfully...
THE DNC HAS SPOKEN OUT:
There will be no "superdelegates are free to change their minds."
There will be no "taking it to the floor of the convention."
It is over. We have won.
I can't believe I still need to reassure myself of that on the very day after our victory, or that on a day like today, I would even require the reassurance of the DNC to know that.
Sigh, but I did. And thought you might, too. :o)

PS: CC Lee did a great diary how our nominee needs our financial support, not just for him, but for his party. ("His" party- gods, how I love saying that!) It's a great reminder to support the DNC, and also her first diary, so please give it a look and rec it up!
