I don't know if this has been diaried yet, did not see it posted. If it has been posted, let me know.
I was over at Swampland at Time.com and saw this
Response to VP Inquiries
While Senator Clinton has made clear throughout this process that she will do whatever she can to elect a Democrat to the White House, she is not seeking the vice presidency, and no one speaks for her but her. The choice here is Senator Obama’s and his alone.
This a smart move on Clinton's part. Now she really needs to strongly endorse Obama and talk to her supporters. After seeing the Democrats for McCain site and hearing about briefly about a anti-Obama 527 being run by a Clinton supporter and Texas delegate (I couldn't get the whole story, I came in on the end, it was on Fox News, so I am sure they will run it again), Clinton really needs to come out strong for Obama if she really wants party unity and a Democratic President next year.
*****UPDATE*******
After seeing some of the comments, I'd just like to add a few things. From a few reports I've seen today, Obama has made it clear (to insiders) that Hillary will not be VP. I am sure she was aware of that when she made this statement, so I have to give her kudos for trying to forge ahead with party unity (regardless of her reasons why). I know that she could do an 180 over the next few days and even up until Denver, however, there is nothing wrong with being positive and hopeful now, we certainly need it.
