Dear Markos,
I live in a really, really old house, one that has been in a permanent state of wreck and remodel for at least the past six or seven years. We have replaced the plumbing, the heat and air and the wiring, and the roofing, all of which don't really do much for the appearance, but are life's little necessities. Mostly it seems that things keep breaking down anyway, and right now I need a new dishwasher. Well, damn. That poor old house didn't even have one when we moved in, and I already need an new one? What a kick in the butt.
In short, the house's only redeeming feature at the moment is the low monthly mortgage. What I really want is a new house!! Yes, bright, shiny and new. With trim and everything!! For gosh sake, my husband builds them for a living and dammit, I want my turn. When will he build a house for me?
Life sucks! We just can't afford it right now, so alas I'll plug along with that one.
But could you at least take down that little square on the front page, because it reminds me of some of the paint samples that I have currently chosen as possibilities. And now, I even have to rethink those? Do you know how hard decisions like this are to make?
I would appreciate any consideration for my current dilemnas.
Sincerely,
Deborah
