Barack Obama’s "The Change That Works For You" tour begins today in the Triangle of North Carolina. And here is one Kossack that will report back (via update) after attending the event.
Now that the Democratic primary season is over and we have our presumptive nominee, it’s time to turn attention and focus to the general election campaign. Enough of the celebrations, already (lol).
Although Barack Obama has already laid out his economic agenda

it’s time to call attention to and differentiate his vision from that other candidate and political party.

We are thrilled to have Barack Obama back in North Carolina to kick off the tour. Doors will open at 11 a.m. at the Exposition Center at the NC State Fairgrounds complex for the 900 invited guests.

Your diarist will be in attendance thanks to an invitation extended by a local Obama delegate to the Democratic National Convention in August (and maybe due to my time and resources invested in this campaign so far?).
Perhaps this posting can be an open thread to discuss the focus on the Obama economic agenda. If this somehow gets recommended up, I promise to update upon my return this afternoon with pictures and personal reflections of the event.
And in the meantime, perhaps you will (also) enjoy this 3 minute celebratory video of Obamaniacs here in the Triangle of North Carolina:

So talk it up, if you like!
