The Anal Protectorate is reporting that Bill Clinton has had discussions with Sen. Obama about campaigning for him, and that he's willing to do so.
"I told him that whenever he wanted me to do it, I was ready, and so it's basically on their timetable," Clinton said. "He's got a lot of things to do between now and the convention, of which this is simply one, so I'll do whatever I'm asked to do, whenever I can do it."
While this would give the corporate media another excuse to run stories about the Clintons and not the guy who's actually running for president, it should help bury the 'house divided' storyline, and make the PUMA crew look even sillier for standing up for people who don't seem to want to be stood up for.
The big question, of course is whether Obama would get the charismatic, voter-swaying 'good Bill', or the angry, bitter 'bad Bill' of the primaries. Clinton, for his part, back-handedly acknowledged his less than stellar performance on the trail during the primaries when commenting on the recent Jesse Jackson kerfuffle.
"If all of us lived on live mics, then 100 percent of us in this room would be embarrassed from time to time," Clinton said.
