This has a lot more to do with sports than politics, but I figured that since many of you here are fans of Keith Olbermann, I'd post this here.
Long before Keith became famous for saving our democracy, he was famous for co-anchoring SportsCenter with Dan Patrick. The two will be re-united on TV for the first time since then, as NBC announced today that Patrick is joining Olbermann (and everyone else) on NBC's Football Night in America. From NBC's story:
Olbermann said: "I’m delighted to be reunited with my tag team partner. I can’t stop Dan Patrick from working with me again, I can only hope to contain him."
Olbermann and Patrick, while anchoring SportsCenter, became renowned for their inimitable style of coupling pop culture and sports – now a hallmark of the modern television sports reporter.
Football Night in America typically airs on Sunday nights during football season at 7 p.m. ET.
I'd much rather have Keith back on Dan's radio show like they did for a couple years, but this is much better than nothing.
