Hello eneryone, I am badbair. This is my first diary entry with you guys, and my first blog ever, so i wil describe myself first with a little background. I am a U.S. Army vet, very proud of that, spent 5 years in, and did a tour with em' during the initial invasion, and spent the majority of my time there in what was first called Saddam city, then freedam city, and finally the name most of you know it by, Sadr City. Heres one for you, we actually saw him wandering around all the time, and a couple of my mates actually ran him off trying to get gas from local hospitals! So any way, after the tour was done and we were back in the states, I began to get restless and irratated by this fruitless struggle we had been thrust into. I had just been divorced from my first wife, had no money and no cable or local tv, so at work I would use the internet to seach the news sights like CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News. I also saw for the first time what Fox was, a lying sack of %$#@ that helped send me to war, where I watched my friends die and listened to such crap as this is for freedom. Heres a joke for you people. Why is the war called Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) instead of Operation Iraqi Liberation? O.I.L.! God, I slay me!
Now listen up, as this part is important. The war is not about Iraq, and is only partially about oil. The true objective is Russia. You might be scoffing at that little statement, but before you blow me off, take out a map of the world and look at were we have troops stationed around the world. Heres a list, just based off my limited knowledge. In Europe you have Germany, The Middle East has Iraq and Afghanistan, and farther east you get to Korea, Japan, Micronesia, Gruam, Hawaii, Wake Island, and don't forget we basically share a border with them in Alaska. We also just gave nuclear support to India, which is important to note, because with them as an allie, it trumps the massive advantage China has in people, which you have to admit, if we throw down with Russia, China is going to jump right in there. So why Iraq? Well, it is well placed to give a cross blow to Russia, in the fact that if war did break out, Our troops and allies in Europe would ingage russian forces in the west while the middle eastern american troops could cut off support from the eastern half, but also because of oil, which Russia has a large researve and America is well past peak oil. With Iraq oil supply right there on the corner of the battlfield, logistics just got a lot less complicated.
So what you have here is something that would make you pause and think. We could be inside of russian borders within a day, in almost every region except the northen area, and could reach their citys with long range bombers in just a couple of hours. Even if our troops lost inside Russia, they would be horribly crippled as we had just trashed their infrastructure. And what then? I dont know.
And finally my last thought of the day, which is that George Bush is one smart man. He has been kicking us progressives around like a soccer ball, taken a big ol' poop on the Constitution, and become a war criminal which no one will call him on, and he is probably going to get away with it. We need to realize that to beat this man, and all his little cronies that protect him, we need not listen to how the man talks, but in how the weasle acts and antisipate what defense he will use the next time he goes and breaks the law. First rule of combat, never underestimate your opponent. One way we can crack this problem is to look at how the mob would insulate the Dons with diffent levels of "in the know".
If you would like to here more on this subject, I am starting a internet radio station called "The Druken' Democrat", and would like to invite all kossacks to come listen and even call in. Hopefully I will have it up and running by next weekend, so wish me luck.
P.S.- If any one out there has a good handle on solar panels, could you let me know how many it takes to run one basic house?
