This is a self-selected, non-scientific straw poll that showcases the virtues of ranked choice/instant runoff voting.
June's ballot collected over 500 votes and is worth a look. It does a pretty good job of showcasing the value of ranked-choice IRV. John Edwards narrowly led the plurality and modified Borda vote (which shows depth of support), but Bill Richardson pulled out the final consensus victory in the Instant Runoff. Kathleen Sebelius was a strong third. Hillary Clinton started out 4th in plurality but fell back quickly due to weak depth of support).
July's ballot collected just over 200 votes. Edwards pulled out the win, after trading leads with Jim Webb. Wesley Clark and Al Gore were also in contention.
