We already know John McCain has several beach front properties in Southern CA. Now I caught the new Politico article on how sugar mama Cindy runs the McCain house. It is time to label Johnny boy with an appropriate tittle "John McCain: The Real House Husband of Orange County"
So John McCain with all his ditziness (Shiite Sunni? Iraq Afghanistan boarder? Dude what's my car? I live where?) must be forgiven. It is Cindy that wears the pants in the his Pow-ness's house and according to Politico it is a McCain family tradition.
John McCain tripped over a question about how many houses he and his wife own because growing up his mother – not his father – handled the family finances, according to McCain’s younger brother.
Wow those manly McCain men can't balance their household budget. I'm sure President McCain could do wonders for our economy.
Likewise, John McCain’s wife Cindy McCain takes the lead when it comes to the couples’ finances, confirmed Joe McCain, after an interview with NewsChannel 8, a Washington 24-hour local cable news station owned by the same company as Politico.
Apparently its a McCain tradition not to know about your houses:
"The person who took care of all the business was my mother," he said. "My father had no idea about the family business, what oil leases he owned in Oklahoma."
Joe McCain, who makes his home in Washington’s Northern Virginia suburbs, chuckled when recalling that "one time, she bought a house to remodel" in Southeast Washington while "he was at sea."
Ohh... but he assures us that they were "middle class at best" in spite of the aforementioned oil wells.
John McCain, who is six years older than Joe McCain, nonetheless can relate to families on a budget, Joe McCain, said during the NewsChannel 8 interview, because they grew up "at best middle class," hop-scotching the country as their father, a high-ranking Naval officer, accepted different postings.
I guess the McCains never cracked that all important 5 million dollar barrier to be rich. And hey, if that isn't good enough for you HE IS A POW DAMN IT!:
John McCain’s years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam and as chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee also help him "emphasize with the American people" on pocketbook issues, Joe McCain said.
"He relates very well to what people need," he said.
All this leads me to speculate, did manly John Mc-OC-housewife have to ask Cindy permission to go shopping and buy those $504 Ferragamo shoes?
