I've long admired Madonna for being outspoken and of course for her talent but she made her feelings for John McCain well known in London and I am loving it.
The woman slammed him hard during her "Sticky and Sweet" tour:
From the AP
Amid a four-act show at Cardiff's packed Millennium Stadium, a video interlude carried images of destruction, global warming, Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler, Zimbabwe's authoritarian President Robert Mugabe — and U.S. Senator John McCain. Another sequence, shown later, pictured slain Beatle John Lennon, followed by climate activist Al Gore, Mahatma Gandhi and finally McCain's Democratic rival Barack Obama.
And Fox had the McCain camps response:
Campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds returns fire and continues to push the Obama celebrity angle:
"The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time. It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits," Bounds said in a written statement.
The republicans have a way of always sounding so shocked and insulted even when they have pulled so many dirty tricks across the board. For me, McCain insinuating that Obama is treasonous by saying he would rather lose the war and win the presidency boils my blood. McShame really thinks that because he was a POW he can get away with anything and the MSM let him and it has to stop.
I applaud Madonna and hope she continues her insulting images of McCain during her shows and gives him a lot of gas that keeps him and cindy up all night.
