If you watch CNN or go to its website your likely to hear this: "Our polls are showing that Obama and McCain are close. Obama should by 500% ahead! Clinton Democrats will never support Obama! Obama's not ready and not experienced!"
Look, I'm not trying to say that we don't have anything to worry about. McCain is a formidable candidate, and we still have a lot of work to do and not a whole lot of time to do it. However, should we be acting like chicken-little like CNN is trying to get us to do?
First, take a look at this media matters article:http://mediamatters.org/...
Second, take a look at this poll that no one, not even Mark Halperin, is mentioning: http://www.bloomberg.com/...
http://www.washingtonpost.com/...
Third, take a look at the Zogby polls in each of the swing states:http://www.zogby.com/...
In short, while we shouldn't assume that victory is in the bag, let's not let CNN and Mark Halperin turn us into chicken little.
In the mean time let's get out and volunteer to make sure that Obama wins in November.
