This will be the shortest diary I will ever post here. From Newsweek
Once onstage, together with Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano, Palin talked about what women expect from women leaders; how she took charge in Alaska during a political scandal that threatened to unseat the state's entire Republican power structure, and her feelings about Sen. Hillary Clinton. (She said she felt kind of bad she couldn't support a woman, but she didn't like Clinton's "whining.")
I can't wait to see the backflips from the PUMA's explaining this away. The comment strikes me as repeating a sexist frame as well.
HT to mydd.
Update
In the comments Kitty has the actual text of the comment
She does herself a disservice to even mention it really. You've got to plow through that. You've got to know what you're getting into."
She says "any kind of perceived whine about that excess criticism...I think, man, that doesn't do us any good, women in politics, women in general, wanting to progress this country."
So she essentially accuses Hillary Clinton of hurting the cause of women!!
