After seeing a couple of incoherent interviews, a friend of mine suggested an idea for a video about Sarah Palin.
What follows is the result.
If I were a Republican woman actually qualified for the Veep job, I'd be plenty pissed right now.
Remember, you can't spell "Condescending Male" without M c C A I N.
I was shocked to find that McCain selected Palin, and as the day wore on, was fascinated by all the revelations of her complete lack of knowledge on a variety of important issues.
I can't imagine why she was selected when I try to give rational thought to the subject.
Only by moving to an irrational state does this make any sense. Is it really a naked appeal to women, based purely on the belief that any woman on the ticket will do?
Why was a qualified female governor or senator not chosen?
Is this another moment of McCain trading in for a newer model, so to speak?
Yeah, this is all pretty ugly, but honestly, what the hell is she doing on a presidential ticket?
I saw the discussion about "we mock Palin at our peril," but I can't not mock this selection at this point. Maybe a stellar debate performance will prove me wrong, but I think she's going to get more mockable as this race continues.
