Let's debunk this executive experience myth right now. If being CEO of of his campaign (Obama Inc.) does not count nor should serving as city council and mayor of a town of less than 6,000 in rural Alaska should not.
I watched the Sunday talk shows and the main GOP talking point was that Palin is the only candidate with executive experience. So lets chronicle her excutive experience: 2 terms in Wasila city council in the 1990's and elected mayor in 1999 and got a total of 110,000 votes to become governor in December 2006. No my friends this is not a Saturday Night Live skit this is real life.. this is batshit crazy. Obama has an organization of over 2,000 staff and volunteers and a budget that revenues over $500,000,000. His staff is located in 50 states with a critical mass at 22 states. Look at the org chart and see that Senator Obama is the Presient and CEO of his organization. While other campaigns floundered and faced severe cash shortages (including McCain's which went broke) Obama steering a fiscally sound ship in often challenging circumstances. McCain spent campaign funds recklessly and was forced to borrow just to stay afloat.. maybe this is a harbringer of things to come as for governance. To conclude Obama has more than enough executive experiance and we should start the chatter to push back this myth and make the comparison to Gov. Palin paper thin resume..
