"I know Hillary Clinton. I served in the Senate with Hillary Clinton. Governor, you're no Hillary Clinton."
For all the talk of Palin siphoning off the votes of mythical latter-day Clintonistas who strangely ignore her positions on, well, everything, there's a real danger of Biden's obvious rhetorical prowess delivering such a blow to Palin's fragile, inexperienced ego during the VP debate that the backlash garners McCain-Palin a sympathy bounce.
Except that the obvious line of attack, to me, seems that Sarah Palin is NOT Hillary Clinton. And John McCain, Republican silver fox Maverick(TM) turned standard-bearer for New Gingrich's Drill Now?
Didn't we spend eight years watching Republicans, led by Newt, bash "The Clintons," especially Hillary, even when the misfortunes were incurred on Bill's part (no pun intended)? And now, all of a sudden, Republican men think they deserve to be elected because... someone else defeated Hillary Clinton in a primary.
Give. Me. A. Break.
Governor, you're no Hillary Clinton.
