Framing! This one lets Obama own the "change" theme, while implying that McCain's version of "change" is bad. I think this particular frame, properly used, could be as effective as Reagan saying, "There you go again."
I apologize for not giving credit, but someone said it this morning here on DailyKos. And I apologize for my diary not being longer.
Please, if you have any good ideas for short, snappy soundbites that still incorporate "change" as the theme, that won't alienate some of the voters who remain undecided, please comment on this diary.
"The change we need" is very, very good, too; but too easily co-opted by McCain's campaign, just as they've glommed onto "change." "The change we trust" has a similar co-opt potential problem, but is even more powerful.
Any ideas for commercials, viral video, etc. are welcome, too. The idea is to strongly grab back the "change" theme.
