We've all heard about McCain's hot temper. He apparently doesn't have any patience, or diplomatic skills, and is severely disabled to handle the simple social situations of a disagreement -- as often as that must come up in some place designed for the diplomatic discussion of disagreements, like the United States Senate.
So, rather than saying, "Honey, I've had a rough day, and I don't want to hear about how you think my hair is not as thick as it used to be," he drops the C-bomb on his wife. McCain defends himself, I might guess, by shrugging his shoulders and saying, "Hey, who hasn't wanted to call their wife a "C--t"?
Well, it wasn't an isolated incident of uncontrollable temper. And, now, it's McCain lashing out while on duty -- presumably, with his work manners on. And, not just at someone who he merely is supposed to love and respect, but a political and Senatorial colleague who agrees with McCain on the vast majority of issues - another Republican.
John McCain smacked Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) with the F-bomb, in the middle of sensitive Senate negotiations on the immigration bill, in front of 40 Senate Colleagues.
McClatchy News Service:
John McCain made a quick stop at the Capitol one day last spring to sit in on Senate negotiations on the big immigration bill, and John Cornyn was not pleased. Cornyn, a mild-mannered Texas Republican, saw a loophole in the bill that he thought would allow felons to pursue a path to citizenship.
McCain called Cornyn's claim "chicken-s---," according to people familiar with the meeting, and charged that the Texan was looking for an excuse to scuttle the bill. Cornyn grimly told McCain he had a lot of nerve to suddenly show up and inject himself into the sensitive negotiations.
"F--- you," McCain told Cornyn, in front of about 40 witnesses.
It was another instance of the Republican presidential candidate losing his temper, another instance where, as POW-MIA activist Carol Hrdlicka put it, "It's his way or no way."
You know what's going to be fun? When John McCain up-ends a table all over Vladamir Putin, and storms from the room shouting, "Fuck you, you cunt! You wanna go to war? We go to war! We fucking go to war all over you!"
Fun, in the sense of millions of Americans dying, economy and society in ruins sense of the word. Which, actually, isn't fun at all. It's murderously reckless and dangerous.
I say: Instead of going with McCain's murderously reckless and dangerous "His Way", let's go with Obama's way.
