This is the sickest article I have read in Oh-just a couple of days about the worst Administration in American history. According the Mark Sylva
The helicopter-borne U.S. Special Operations raid in Pakistan last week was not an isolated incident "but part of a three-phase plan, approved by President Bush, to strike at Osama bin Laden and top al-Qaeda leadership'' at the end of Bush's term, National Public Radio is reporting, citing well-placed sources.
So what is the hurry now you bastard? We have waited for seven years for you to capture or kill this A-Hole and you are just now doing something?
This is apparently a new strategy authorized by Bush.
Pentagon and White House officials have declined to discuss the new plan.
"The intelligence community already had approval from the president to carry out operations inside Pakistan, which included attacks by Predator drones, which can carry 100-pound Hellfire missiles,''
The offensive that took place by the Navy Seals, last week, led to the deaths of 20 people-it states some of them were civilians.
But both Sylva and NPR questioned the timing:
"They were definitely after al-Qaeda forces," said one of the sources. "But the bleedpover between those two," he added, referring to the Taliban, "is significant."
"Both sources say those in the intelligence community and on Capitol Hill are raising questions about the political intent of this new aggressive stance,'' NPR reports. "The question is," said one of the sources, "Why wasn't this done a year ago?"
I question the timing as well. I am not saying we should wait to get this man, I am saying why did you wait until now? Why is it so important to Bush now? We have waited seven long years for this president to capture Bin Laden, and he is just now gettin' around to it.
