It's going to be a wild ride over the next six weeks listening to the weeping, wailing and hand wringing from Democrats. If you listen to the pundits, the Democrats are in a free fall, even though the polls are neck and neck. Several red states are still in play, like North Carolina which is virtually tied, yet, the pundits pretend like the Republican leaning states are all locked up now and out of reach of Barack Obama. Is this panicking really necessary? I have to listen to Republicans reveling openly in the sweat soaked terror being displayed by Democrats.
Folks, we have to be like Sarah Palin. We cannot blink. If we were losing, why are Republicans messing with ballots in Mississippi and sending out absentee ballot applications with false information to Obama supporters and Independents? They are prepared to win at any cost. We can't fight a ruthless, corrupt opponent while peeing our pants.
The Palin bubble is only weeks away from exploding, spitting Sarah and John McCain into election oblivion. The Republicans are riding a miniwave which will soon crash. It's called a bounce, people. Sometimes I get the feeling that Democrats don't really want to fight to win. They want the election handed to them. Those days are over. Elections in America are now rigged by one of the most corrupt administrations in recent memory that is hell bent on staying in office.
The race factor is no doubt playing into Democrats fears, especially with Chuck Todd's ridiculous analysis that Obama must stay above 48% to win. Chuck Todd is an asshole. He also said that Sarah Palin's interview was better that John Edwards' blowout in 1988 and Bill Richardson on Meet the Press. He is complicit with the Republicans, just like Gallup, which is now admitting to tinkering with polls to favor McCain.
Let's put on our knee high boots on and get in the sewage filled mud because it is going to get nasty, but if we want to take our country back we are going to have to wage warfare. And have some faith in Obama. He is still our country's one and only political phenomenon. He does not have to lie and fudge crowd numbers to prove that he is popular.
