Her famous line "Thanks, but no thanks" is illogical.
Sarah Palin's statements about the Bridge to Nowhere, upon further analysis, make absolutely no sense!
Admittedly she has been caught in her inconsistencies about first supporting the bridge and then opposing it, but it is her now claimed opposition to the Bridge to Nowhere which is troubling.
If you are the governor of a state and the federal government wants to spend THEIR money on YOUR state to build a bridge to a small island what do you care? Do you want the governor of your state to refuse bridges in your state? Would you turn down free money?
As if her inconsistencies were not bad enough, she is now stating she won't take free money. She is telling her citizens of that small island that even though someone else is going to pay for their bridge at no expense to them she is against it?
After thinking this through she really looks stupid. If the People of France told us they wanted to build a statute (i.e. the Statute of Liberty) and place in near New York at their expense would she refuse it? If any country wanted to give us their money is she now claiming a precedent that she won't accept it?
THIS WOMAN IS AN IDIOT!
