Yep! J Sydney McShame has questioned the value and worth of this
group of hard-working Americans, people who really know what it
means to 'go without' despite all their efforts and work. A bit
odd, it seems, for McSame to point fingers here since he comes
from a wealthy family (celebrities in military circles, even).
How many corners can one mouth have?
The target and victim of McSlime's barbs just happen to be entertainers, who typically are very hard-working Americans who excelled in their craft through dedication and hard work. Usually some of that hard work was put
in as waiters, retail clerks and customer service representatives
- all "hard-working American" employment positions, last time I
checked....
There is special purity and honor in those true artists who
sacrifice much for their art and particularly difficult when
material security is never attained, especially in this era,
ushered in with Reagan, where wealth is godlike and defines a
person's worth.
What is the closest you have come to poverty or an hourly-wage
job, Senator? J Sydney had a brief, traditional marriage with
traditional responsibilities - then he abandoned all that for
marriage to a wealthy 'local celebrity' named Cindy. She even
posed for Vogue magazine later in life.
The Arizona senator complained that Obama "talked about siding
with the people, just before he flew off to Hollywood for a
fundraiser with Barbara Streisand and his celebrity friends."
Really Sydney, are you saying Americns are fools? Obama is the
recipient of money from a political fundraiser, therefore all
donors are his friends and their entertainment profession makes
them suspicious? Does that mean we should be suspicious of the
Keating Five - your close friends of considerable wealth, a few of
which ended-up in jail?
Even your choice for running mate has become a "celebrated figure"
in your own circle, appearing on entertainment magazine covers and
traveling with tv crews who usually travel with Paris. Is your
anger at Hollywood really passive-aggressive venting at something
other than what is really bothering you? Enquiring minds want to
know!
Finally McScheme, if hard-working Americans were able to get
themselves through a prestigious university and/or build wealth
through whatever particular gifts they possessed in a given area
are suspect and not "one of us," then what is this "American
dream" you speak of "us" achieving? Why should we bother to do
anything about "education" in this country if it turns out that
it's really a shameful thing? At least, education beyond high
school, which will make America the worlds capital for factory
labor.
Major problem here, McSwagger, in perception evidenced in this
quote, "Let me tell you, my friends, there's no place I'd rather
be than here with the working men and women of Ohio." Psst! They
aren't able to get many jobs in Ohio, so as much as they would
like to be, they aren't working! Did you happen to bring any jobs
with you, by chance?
For good measure, of disconnect, let's look at this quote too...
"Senator Obama's not interested in the politics of hope, he's
interested in his political future." Well, duh. Anyone with
knowledge and intention to succeed, has an interest in their
future. This is particularly true of a young person on the rise.
How different it is, from an elderly man, of retirement age, seen
making desperate moves for expediency in attaining the prize his
ego and sense of entitlement maniacally drive him toward because
"he must" (for himself) before he dies.
