Four More Years!
Four More Years!
Four More Years!
At the incumbent party's national convention, isn't this what you are supposed to hear constantly?
If you are proud of your party's record, that is.
Let's count how many times we hear that from the speakers and the delegates over this week.
We'll hear a lot about Obama.
We'll hear a lot about how, 35 years ago, McCain was a POW.
We'll hear a bit about who the heck Sarah Palin is.
We may hear some about abortion.
But I suspect, in prime time at least, we won't hear very little about what the Republicans have accomplished these last 8 years. And we won't be hearing very much "Four More Years."
And we won't be hearing from any Republican administration officials in prime time.
This is essentially a concession that the Republican stewardship over the last 8 years has been a complete failure.
