Boy, this headline just thrills this lifelong Floridian to pieces. No problems were forseen when McCain was ahead in the polls in Florida, but now that the Mason-Dixon poll and some of the others have Obama in the lead, looka here, this comes up.
This state, my state, the place I was born and have lived for 67+ years, is beginning to look like a bunch of yahoos, goofballs, or worse, what we have all suspected "thieves". I can not say how proud I am. I find this astounding.

I find it very strange that now that the GOP and McBush and Qualin are dropping in the polls, folks may be scrambling for a really good reason for it not to be FLORIDA, FLORIDA, FLORIDA this time.
It appears to me that the GOP is loosing ground in Florida as it is in lots of other states. Main street people are sick of the Republithugs and the greed that they drag along with them. They are on the down side of what the people want in their government and the poor attendence to McSame and Caribou Barbie is beginning to show.
The only place that pulled any sort of GOP crowds was at the Villages outside of Ocala, stated crowd estimate of 60,000. I really doubt that, but whatever Palin's folks need to say to make them feel better, works. I know the TV stations and the news stations and only one or two reported this fable. If 60,000 people showed up, in the Villages, it would have been blasted on the news & TV stations nationwide. But I do have to say that according to various records, the population of the Villages is about 80,000, and they are mostly retired. Maybe it was sort of like a circus being in town.
Anyway, Barack is pulling crowds in Florida like I have never seen before. I have been to a couple of small open houses and rallies and I am thrilled by what is being done in Florida to help elect Barack.
But watch out, remember that our Governor, Charlie Crist, is a Republican and was in the running for VP. No smear, just stating a fact that needs to be remembered.
