The videos of Sarah Palin with Katie Couric are becoming too numerous.
And Why did Barack allow himself to be suckered by Bush and McCain?
McCain actually called Bush for this "guilt" meeting.
But this latest video (This is not the video on top of Daily Kos Main area now) on Alaska's Proximity to Russia (as McCain Obama meet)is priceless.
Once again (as yesterday) Palin gives a tortured response, and her facial expressions engender any thing but confidence.
The woman actually gave a response a third grader would do better with.
Do they really want us to belive this woman is a leader?
Sometimes I wonder if this whole recent McCain Charade, was to hide Palin's interview with Couric and/or postpone her VP debate.
The woman may not be ready! But McCain and the GOP are also up to something and it doesn't have Obama's best intentions.
Democrat beware!
Here's the transcript and video link below.
Katie Couric: You've cited Alaska's proximity to Russia as part of your foreign policy experience. What did you mean by that?
Sarah Palin: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and, on our other side, the land-boundry that we have with Canada. It's funny that a comment like that was kinda made to ... I don't know, you know ... reporters.
Couric: Mocked?
Palin: Mocked, yeah I guess that's the word, mocked.
Couric: Well, explain to me why that enhances your foreign-policy credentials.
Palin: Well, it certainly does, because our, our next-door neighbors are foreign countries, there in the state that I am the executive of. And there...
Couric: Have you ever been involved in any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?
Palin: We have trade missions back and forth, we do. It's very important when you consider even national-security issues with Russia. As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right next to, they are right next to our state.

Can you believe the last paragraph. This woman is a complete idiot.
They are not only hiding her from reporters live, their also hiding her from coverage, while McCain does his "Suspend my campaign" stunt.
I'm very wary of the bailout plan and McCain's intentions.
There are recent reports (a diary on it) that McCain is going to back out voting on it, and democrats are aware. Either way, I think McCain did what he did to drag Obama into this. Previously, both McCain and Obama could claim cover. But that would only help Obama who's in the drivers seat. But now, the republican's want to show clearly that Obama was involved with this deal (at least visually/superficially), so when the shit hits the fan, the republican's can blame Obama and said he supported and looked at this plan. This way, McCain doesn't go down alone, or Obama goes down alone, if he (McCain) backs out and doesn't sign.
Some congressional reporters are also saying that, the Repubs are purposefully holding up a meeting, that everyone says was going well, some McCain can swoop in at the last minute and claim credit.
I don't trust them!
This is the same stunt, that Bush pulled with the Patriot Act in 2002. Bush and the Republican's rushed in new legislation, and claimed it was an abject emergency, giving legislation no time to properly read or evaluate it's impact. I hope the Democrats are brighter this time around, and not just participating in some sort of "willing blind ignorance".
The Democrats should not be bullied! Let them take their time to properly evaluate!
As Far as the Palin Video, is concerned? Is the average American really going to see this interview; and even if they do, would they even remember it (with all the GOP Shenanigans going on lately)? How slick of the McCain campaign to do this.
Is she still going to debate, I ask?
