No video yet Video after the fold... this just happened on the Situation Room on CNN. Jack Cafferty, the voice of reason that I have come to adore for his flat-out frankness and ability to cut through the crap, just went off on Sarah Palin.
If you didn't see it, Jack played the video of Palin's answer to Katie Couric about the bailout, which you can view here.
This is worth every second...
There were two gems to Cafferty's response to the video.
The first was his incredulity that Palin could possibly be "one 72 year-old heartbeat away from the Presidency." He went on to say that "I am 65 years old and never have I seen someone so totally unqualified to be President."
Wolf Blitzer, in his typical "there's two sides to everything" style, rebutted that maybe it was just a bad moment or something else, to which Jack Cafferty had his second gem.
Jack cut off Wolf and said, "there's no way to excuse this, this was horrible."
To which Wolf meekly replied, "definitely not one of her better answers."
Now, I'm paraphrasing a bit because I don't have Tivo, but if you saw this and you have a link to the video, please let me know! I want to put it up here for all to see.
And if you get a chance, go give a response to Jack Cafferty's question on his website:
Is Sarah Palin qualified to be President?
We know what Jack thinks... what do you think?
Update: Thanks to ChiSoxFan for the exact quote from Cafferty after Palin finished her answer:
the exact quote was "If that doesn't scare the hell out of you, it should."
Update 2: Here's the video! (hat tip to KingOneEye)
