Sorry to diary this, but there seem to be multiple discussions of the bill that is supposedly to be voted on, the one at: http://money.cnn.com/... this is version: O:\AYO\AYO08B94.xml
But according to Paul Krugman's blog there have been significant changes since that was posted, so maybe we have to take a deep breath and wait for the real thing?
I thought this the best way to cut through and alert everyone we may be arguing about the wrong bill.
Update 1: there is another diary up with a different address for the bill, that is financialservices.house.gov which I cannot currently access. Don't yet know if that is the new version or the old version.<</strong>
Update #2: there is a NYTimes link that appears to have a different version than the original one posted at money.cnn... the notation on the top of the version at NYTimes is O:\AYO\08C04.xml find it here
Update #3: The house site finally loaded for me at 5:27PDT, the version referenced in my second update is the most current as of now
