There has been an extraordinary amount of reckless speculation on this site suggesting that the GOP VP vetting process has been less than thorough.
In fact, nothing could be further from the truth. The decision of whom to select as a vice president--PARTICULARLY when the presidential candidate has a chronic health problem (being waaay old)--is one of the most important decisions an executive can make. It is proof of character, judgment, and good ol' horse sense.
To clear up any lingering questions about the care and attention paid to this matter by the GOP, we have prepared what will hopefully be an educational (or to use a word thrown around a lot these days, "edutainmental") video about the vetting process utilized by the Republican Party.
We hope this clears up any misconceptions. Thank you for watching. Dear God, I hope you've learned something.
