Cindy McCain's appearance at the RNC, alongside Laura Bush, asking viewers to donate to Gulf Relief charities was done in style.
How much style you ask? Well $300,000 buys a lot of style apparently. First the list as discovered by Vanity Fair of all publications.
Oscar de la Renta dress: $3,000
Chanel J12 White Ceramic Watch: $4,500
Three-carat diamond earrings: $280,000
Four-strand pearl necklace: $11,000–$25,000
Shoes, designer unknown: $600
Total: Between $299,100 and $313,100
In fact next to The First Ladies peasant like $3,500 outfit, Cindy McCain looked close to half a million dollars.
What gets me pissed in all this is that following Cindy's opening at the Convention, they spent the rest of the time blasting "cosmopolitan" Obama, "the Liberal Elite" and the "Elite Media" before flying home from the convention on the Enron funded private jets. Maybe get back to there GOP mansions or condo's or ranches before the weekend.
Something is wrong here when a corrupt band of politicians can go before an audience of millions struggling to pay gas and bills and say that other guy is the elitist.
Pure Contempt. Looks like Cindy with her 300,000 outfit can buy style but obviously doesn't have any herself like the rest of that all white GOP crowd waving there flags as the country goes down the drain.
Cindy and Bush ask other people to donate money
But anyway don't need to be wearing almost half a mil of clothes to ask people to donate to Gulf Relief so I'll add a few links myself. Know a lot of people are struggling with funds at present but sometimes the not to well off gotta help other not so well off peeps.
The Republicans sure ain't going to help them.
