Sarah Palin is not the issue. John McCain's pick for VP was chosen to do just what she's doing, add a pleasing personality to his listless image and confuse the issues facing the American public. But, its not about abortion or family values, the issue is; just how effing 'unbelievable' the Republicans are.
Its unbelievable that a 26 year veteran Sen. from Az. could give his convention speech claiming to be an agent for change with a straight face. Unbelievable that the media didn't ridicule the very notion. Unbelievable that the conservative base is so eager to embrace smoke and (make-up)mirrors.
We need to stay on target, keep hammering the GOP corruption and the harm Bushco has put upon the nation by mismanagement and possible criminality. Attacks on Ms Palin, while perhaps not counter-productive are none the less ineffective and a waste of energy.
Its a simple reality, the Republicans are simply 'unbelievable', and we just can't believe a thing they say. It is absolutely 'unbelievable' they way they sing about change as they dance around the truth.
Follow me below the fold.
When the McCain campaign tries to co-opt the Obama theme of change for the country, we need to assert; that its 'unbelievable' he can take the public for such dupes. When McCain claims that he will turn around the economy, counter that the GOP hasn't been right about the economy for years. From trickle down to deregulation to lower taxes on the rich, their policies haven't worked and the GOP and John McCain are no longer believable. When he says he's a maverick, point out that you don't believe someone who has voted with Bush 95% of the time is much of a maverick.
When you hear;
'We are bringing Democracy to the middle east.' That's unbelievable.
'The terrorists are going to follow our troops home.' Unbelievable, even comical.
'McCain is going to bring change to Washington.' Breath takingly not believable.
'Sarah Palin is qualified to lead the country.' Unbelievable. (should be a dictionary example)
We need to spread the truth to counter their absurdities and then when they continue their drivel, (hopefully) they will be seen as the liars they are.
The proposition is simple. The GOP has hidden, stretched and punctured the truth past the point of believability. The nation need to not trust GOP politicians. They are after all ..... unable to speak the truth. They are 'Unbelievable'.
Unbelievable, that's what they are.
Unbelievable, they've gone too far
that's why kossacks, its imperitive
not to copy right wing negatives
just keep focussed on the narrative
Republicans are an 'unbelievable' brood
(appologies to Nat Cole)
