How many times have we heard that Obama is too "inexperienced," or too "liberal" (ha), or too "elitist," to be president? How many times have we seen Obama's patriotism impugned? How many times have we seen smears implying Obama was some kind of criminal? That he is some sort of terrorist? That he and his wife are angry black separatists? That they hate America?
Answer: too goddamn many times.
Meanwhile, it's been obvious for years that the republican candidate, John McCain is flat out unfit to be president of the United States. Today brings a shocking confirmation of this truth:
According to McClatchy, John McCain is so unstable, volatile, and unhinged, that he actually pushed a disabled old lady in a wheelchair.
Via the Huffington Post:
According to McClatchy's report, in 1996, McCain was met in the Senate office halls by a group of family members of POW-MIAs who had been pressing him to pursue more information on their relatives.
Six people present have written statements describing what they saw. According to the accounts, McCain waved his hand to shoo away Jeannette Jenkins, whose cousin was last seen in South Vietnam in 1970, causing her to hit a wall.
As McCain continued walking, Jane Duke Gaylor, the mother of another missing serviceman, approached the senator. Gaylor, in a wheelchair equipped with portable oxygen, stretched her arms toward McCain.
"McCain stopped, glared at her, raised his left arm ready to strike her, composed himself and pushed the wheelchair away from him," according to Eleanor Apodaca, the sister of an Air Force captain missing since 1967.
And this guy wants to be leader of the free world? He wants to be in charge of the armed forces of the United States of America? He wants to have control over our nuclear arsenal?
Are you fucking kidding me? The guy assaulted two old ladies, for god's sake!?! It is just staggering how much of a pass this lunatic is being given by the media. Puke.
