The 5 year statute of limitation for the rampant mortgage fraud clock is ticking. It needs to be increased if we are to serve the law and justice for future generations. As most of the mortgage fraud occurred beginning in 2003 it appears many white collar criminals are beginning to breathe a big sigh of relief, unless
There is an effort to extend the Statute of Limitation
This appears to be an effort to do so:
Please contact your legislators and support:
"Congress Considers a New Public Corruption Statute
HR 1872, "Effective Corruption Prosecutions Act of 2007"
HR 1872 is the house bill that mirrors Senate Bill S. 118.
It provides that 18 U.S.C. s 666 would be allowed as a RICO predicate. It allows for an 8-year statute of limitations for a host of statutes that are routinely used in corruption cases, as well as outside this sphere. For example, if passed into law it would allow for an 8-year statute of limitation in a simple bribery case or in a mail fraud case that uses the honest services statute (see here). The proposed legislation also calls for additional funding to investigate and prosecute corruption."

Well, unless you guilty.
Most of the mortgage fraud crime is quickly sliding out of grasp for prosecution unless a new law, grandfathering actions from 2003 forward is passed quickly.
Am I right?
