Hello
I don't find Islam to be a threat, just a total nusiance
So I'm at school this week, and what do I see in the big open space with sofas where I usually hang out? I see what looks to be a makeshift arab marketplace
A giant maze that you're supposed to go into to learn about Islam, and numerous different kiosks lining the walls handing out pamphlets, burkas, and little Islamic nicknacks
Coming from a stereo, starting from 9 am till 5 pm they have blasting that Islamic singing that sounds like a guy singing in a shower. You know what I'm talking about? It was on for 8 straight hours every day and was hammered into my skull.
Add to that, as I'm sitting down trying to ignore all this stuff, random people keep trying to accost me and harass me. One guy handed me a stupid pamphlet with a bunch of goofball stuff like an embryo compared to a piece of chewed bubblegum somehow proving that Allah is the lord. One broad in a burka gave me a little flyer about Palestine. And then two chicks in hijabs came along asking me to give money for "the children of Gaza"...I had to tell em I already gave at the office to get rid of them. Now, if I wanted to help the children of Palestine I'd give to an established organization like the Red Cross Foundation, not the Two Strangers With An UnMarked Cardboard Box Full of Money That Could Probably Get Funneled to Hamas Foundation.
Now you tell me, wouldn't you be irritated by all of these antics? Am I wrong to think I shouldn't have to be harassed by all of this flimshaw and foofaraw, no matter what they're peddling, just so I can go about my daily business? I don't care if you believe in God, Allah, or sticking hotdogs up your anus to attain enlightenment....but keep it out of my face, alright?
.
.
EDIT: Wow, some of you people are dense. I don't care about Islam, what irritates me is the outrageous proselytizing

EDIT#2: And I'm sure you people would be just as tolerant if it was ridiculous Fundamentalist Creationists doing this at your place of business for a full week, cause that's what these people were like
