Yesterday, Joe Scarborugh wrote a post on HuffingtonPost. It was a pretty good article.
What can a good Republican say about the week that has unfolded?
I'm not sure.
Barack Obama has captured the imagination not only of Washington and America, but also of the world.
He has delivered the most compelling inaugural speech in 48 years.
But I should of known it wouldn't last.
This morning, Joe brought on that asshole, Tucker Carlson. When asked about his impression of the speech and the entire event, Tucker horribly paraphrased President Obama as he tried to explain it as a "Dark" speech. Then he stated that the security was "over-the-top" and as an American he "has the right to walk down whatever street he wants...how DARE they close streets in DC during the inauguration!"
I couldn't believe my ears! Wha..Wha..WTF?? You're complaining about the level of security used to protect our President? Even Mika went off on them, calling these assholes a bunch of "hypocrites" for always saying that "GW Bush can do whatever to keep us safe...but closing of a few streets to enhance security is somehow--wrong??"
I was absolutley floored. Then they start talking about "entitled" people getting to have all this extra security and that the President should of told Secret Service he didn't want people to have to be that far from him!
I just couldn't believe my ears! (Sorry...just had to rant!)
UPDATE: Sorry folks, I had the wrong Tucker. It was Tucker Carlson, not Tucker Bounds. (But they're both douche bags!)
