Dedicated to our conservative friends (expanded and revised)
Obama Lament
Obama has come to take the reins
of power for our sins.
The slashing wind has opened veins
of our mourning kin.
What have we done, whom we betrayed
to merit such a fate?
The faded fabric of our flag
is getting thin and frayed.
The brightest day cannot expunge
the darkness that does writhe
Within our souls, and beneath
The empty leaden skies.
Oh, woe is us! Oh baneful day!
The Evil One anon
Will take all our guns away
And gay-marry our sons.
This too shall pass; This too shall fade;
for Time eases all pain.
With breathless eagerness we wait
for Bush to come again.

The Ghost of Bush's past
Oh Bush, oh Bush, of thee I sing,
I shan't compare thee to anything!
Thy tender hips, Thy Waterboard
Will give this Dragon quite a hoard.
I'll cook you with the spices rare
Soft-scented, they will make you bear
A startling resemblance to a quiche.
it's all the cheese-for-brains, delish!
I will crunch you with delight
On a cold, crisp winter night
The wind's sweet, gentle music will
be your companion unto Hell.

The Ghost of Bush's Future
Of Jeb I dream
In my lonely nights.
Of how he'd ream,
of how he'd bite.
A gentle nibble,
That is all.
I shall not fib
Before my fall.
His chiseled face,
His sparkling mind,
The panty lace
that I will find!
<chorus>
He will open his manly arms,
He will pull off his manly jeans,
He will repair the harm
of his older brother's dreams.
Jeb will show us the way
From the pit of despair; he will
Ride in on a white Segway,
And things will get better still.
Ever got reamed on wheels?
Gyroscopically balanced?
The feelings I will feel
Will make up for Obama!
