I don't know much about the World Economic Forum, but my huband heard that the average bottle of wine served there costs $1,700. That's about 100 times what the average bottle of wine that we drink costs, and we were wondering who's buying it all. He thinks that somehow our government and our taxes may be paying for some of that, but I have my doubts about that . . .
I Googled the conference, and looked at their contributors. Wow! I've never seen a list where you pick the first letter, then the second letter of a last name to filter. Interesting. The As alone scrolled down forever, but I'm interested, does anyone know who really does sponsor this event, and if any of our tax dollars really do go toward all that expensive wine?
