From Goddards' PoliticalWire:
Steele Says AMA Lacks Credibility on Health Care
RNC Chairman Michael Steele "took a shot at the American Medical Association today, saying the organization doesn't have 'credibility' on health care reform," according to The Hill.
Said Steele on Fox News: "The AMA is -- does not have the credibility on this health care issue, as they would like to project."
The AMA has traditionally opposed major health care reform, but came out in favor of the Democratic proposals in the House earlier this year.
I mean, who trusts those doctors anyway on health care? Not Michael Steele, that's for sure! Thank you GOP for letting this man be your top spokesperson. From the bottom of my Democratic heart, I appreciate your help, Mr. Steele.
Now seriously, this man is a joke, which makes him the perfect spokesperson for a joke of a party. The Republicans really should just go the full Federalist and threaten to break the union as a full party rather than as single politicians, like the utterly unique, 'special' Gov. Perry (R-lala land/TX).
Of course, we do know that true patriots today hate their country. ...right?
C'mon Senate Finance Committee. Get the job done, and let some real Senators (Schumer, Harkin, Durbin) fix your mess.
