It's being reported that former Miss California Carrie Prejean, who was suing the Miss California organization for religious discrimination, has settled her lawsuit without pocketing any of the over one million dollars she had requested. The reason? Two words. Sex tape.
TMZ is reporting
Carrie Prejean demanded more than a million dollars during her settlement negotiations with Miss California USA Pageant officials -- that is, until the lawyer for the Pageant showed Carrie an XXX home video of her handiwork.
And up until now, Prejean has been silent. But we have obtained an exclusive interview where the former Miss California discusses the controversy. Take a look.
You have to admit, she makes a good point. If Republican men can move past their sex scandals, why can't Republican women?

TRANSCRIPT FOR THOSE WITHOUT VIDEO
REPORTER: Miss Prejean, as former Miss California, you were suing the organization saying that they discriminated against you because of your religion. They counter-sued, saying you didn’t make scheduled appearances and didn’t reimburse them for a... for a uh... boob job they got for you. The suits were suddenly settled when apparently a sex tape of you surfaced.
CARRIE: Oh, I don’t see what the big deal is. For starters it wasn’t a same sex tape! It was an opposite sex tape! Secondly, I do not see how this affects my status as a strong new Conservative voice in the Republican Party! I mean, David Vitter had sex with prostitutes and wore adult diapers, and he’s still a senator! Rest assured America, I am still going to speak out loud and proud about how I don’t believe that gays deserve equal rights! Thank you!
