Holden Caulfield, is a phony. Health Care in America, is phony. We cannot, will not have health care for all until we stop pretending. Stop pretending that our parents and children aren't dying.
My Pop is old, and dying. He has "decent" union benefits but he's still dying. I've tried to help him as a fellow Union member. However, we allow the all out assault upon unions and don't care one lick when they are attacked.
You know what? I'll give up some of my Union benefits, if some of you would work harder to work together. 'Ya give some to get some. If my Pop taught me anything, it's that we need to work together, to get ahead.
Follow me asunder...
All I've seen here lately is "Obama" sucks, "Reid" sucks, "Pelosi" sucks. You know what, I suck. You suck. We all suck. Period.
End of story.
We all suck.
Knock it off, stop playing the victim.
The Healthcare reform currently proposed may or may not fit your mold, but what we get may help someone who's not in your situation, so STFU. I'm fascinated by the number of people here who think in absolutes.
Either "Single Payer" or nothing, opt-in, or opt-out, trigger or nothing.
Someone, somewhere, needs more than this.
I know I do, I certainly know my Pop does, who do you know that also does?
