I was late to the Obama candidacy for President. He wasn't my first choice in the primaries. After his nomination I climbed on the bus. I made multiple generous (given the size of my wallet) contributions and I was a local advocate for Obama's final run.
Now, for all my efforts, I get to watch members of the democrat (you noticed, eh?) party singlehandedly sabotage Health Care... uhhh... Insurance reform. And I get to watch the White House cave to these gutless miscreants - democrat in name only because a majority of voters in each of their home states want a public option.
Enough.
If the White House isn't willing to stand up for a robust option that takes effect now, something a majority of Americans in every state want, something that our nation can in fact afford now, then all I've got to say is:
Cave to Joe?
No more dough!
That's right. If the White House wont't deliver something a simple as a robust public option that a sizable majority of voters want and that we can afford right now then why should I ever deliver another penny to support the spineless occupants in the White House?
I'm not some fat cat banker or insurance executive. I'm a hard working middle class person who can not and will stand by one more second while our health care system be ripped off by these rapacious, heartless, greedy insurance companies and the gutless politicians - including those in the White House - who enable them.
A majority of the citizen of this country want a robust public option.
Our nation can afford a robust public option. Right now. And everyone knows it.
Hey, occupants of the White House, are you listening?
Cave to Joe?
No more dough!
