Or, we could call these next couple of days "favorite wack jobs" or "wack job favorites" because I can absolutely see some overlap here based on the sneak previews we've gotten. I mean, hell, Grandma ExGov TurkeyLover & her Miss Opposite Marriage love child could go in both categories, yes?
I'm dispensing with the "this day in history" items for reasons I'll explain here in a bit.
But first, did any of y'all have a chance to watch this show? Man, I wish I'd had a chance to see this before all the holiday hoopla. It will be required viewing for me from now on & hope it will be for you, too!
So, here's the plan for tonight's & tomorrow's show. I mentioned last week that tomorrow is Hubby's birthday, so I won't be able to sparkin' live diary the "wack job" portion of the festivities in the true sense of the word. But, I've got my DVR set to record it, so I'll offer my "pearls of wisdom" in this diary as I watch it & will look forward to seeing your great fun thoughts here - hence the diary title "favorites and wack jobs."
Based on the "sneak previews" from last week, we already know we'll be seeing St. Sarah from Wasilla, Carrie "Have Sex With Someone You Love - YOURSELF!" Prejean, & Levi Johnston. Who else do you think we'll see? I'm sure we'll be visited by Boss Limbaugh, Orly Taitz, and Rep. Joe "You Lie!" Wilson. Ya' think we'll even get a visit from Bat$hit Bachmann? How 'bout Tiger Woods or some of the "characters" who gained some "infamy" in the wake of Michael Jackson's death?
And, I'll be interested to see if "favorites" will mean snarky favorites kind of like last year's or if we'll see a touch of actual honest - to - goodness favorites also like we saw last year. I would hope Capt. Sullenberger would make a "true" favorites list. Another personal acutal favorite of mine would be John Culver, who helped our nation laugh through our tears at Senator Ted Kennedy's passing.
Let the favorites & wack jobs festivities commence - Countdown style!
