If you'll allow me a brief diary, I simply want to pose a question. In view of the, shall we say, "full-throated" support given by this site and its readers to John Edwards' heroic primary campaign, in which, it must be admitted, he led the way on many key issues, I find it strange that such a leader in the party is now so silent.
Whatever you might say about John Edwards, he is a man of the people. A true populist, not just some slick pandering phony. When it comes to the economic issues important to so many Americans, John Edwards just gets it.
I hope I'm not coming across as your typical dKos Edwards fanboi here. I'm just trying to give credit where it's due. But in a way, it just points up the contrast between then and now. Just why aren't we hearing from our man Edwards about the need for quick and decisive action in Washington?
