Some of you here will not like what I have to say and I am sure that you will have your holier than thou opinion.
We are in a very critical time in our nation and we need to have all the support to get our goals passed which will require enough votes.
As we all know there is so much opposition from the right on the important issues that we face and we must not forget that.
The Republicans have shown their suits... They are going to oppose any and everything that Obama and the Dem.'s want to enact and pursue for the people of this country.
They have already voiced their opposition to the new mortgage bill that Obama rolled out today, and they will continue to oppose anything else that will be needed to rescue this country and its people.
Example of this,Cantor: Has already started, even moments before Obama spoke questioning this plan. I am surprised that Vittor wasn't with him.
Now you are asking, where is this leading to and what does this have to do with my title.
Well here is what I am leading up too.
We are so eager to presume some one is guilty before they have been tried.
To me I say that is bullshit. That is not what we are suppose to do in this country under our constitution. Everyone is ready to kick Burris out of the senate. He hasn't been charged with anything, you have fallen in to the right wing's trap... Get on the band wagon, get the rope... Like I said this is bullshit.
If you want to start yelling your self righteousness, then first ask yourself, "Why is Mr. Service the prostitutes (David Vittor) still in his seat"? Why did Larry Craig get to keep his until the end of his term"?
We need the votes to get our agenda passed.. We do not need to lose our focus and be distracted by bullshit tripe that the Republicans are trying to push.
We need Burris's votes, and the Democrats need to take the Republican play book and use it like they did for Vittor and Craig.
Burris will be coming up for re-election next year and I am sure there will be a stronger Democrat that can win this seat. So in the mean time I suggest that the Dem.'s circle the wagon and get too work.
