It's clear to me that the seemingly binary division of our society is becoming unwound. I feel that the general message is not so much the progress of a partisan agenda, but the progress of America, and in turn perhaps, the progress of the world. I feel that we can not be overly-constricting of industry, but we must not turn our blind eye to our own greed. The "with us er uh-genst us!" policies obviously have languished in their own contempt, and hogs run off with the massive profits they cut.
Nothing could be more important than passing on a message of peace and prosperity, without the inhibitions of factionalisation which keeps us from moving on as a society. We've been raving this whole time about "CHANGE!", but to what? To our a liberal agenda from a conservative one? Sure, maybe that's a "good" thing from our perspective, like defeating the Mexico City laws, or giving more civil liberties to LGBT couples, but the first word in USA is US, not "us and them", which sounds to me like a WWII-esque dichotomy of political factions. Indeed, there are a handful of people on websites like Obambi or RedState with something of exactly that butthole of origin: that liberal, or even moderate progressive programs and ideals are somehow "fascist", or "totalitarian", or "pro-dictatorship", or something dense like that (please look up "YoungConservative" on YouTube sometime...).
Regardless of political association, we all share something in common: a desire for the betterment of society in someway or another; like puppies! Everyone loves puppies, right? Well, perhaps not, but I think I have made my point. Whether we prefer black labs or German shepards, we are more alike than we would like to think we are.
