I haven't a lot to add to this, but it looks like the Redstate Strike Farce is giving blue dogs false confidence in their perceived support levels. I don't get their emails, but balloon juice has:

I don't really have much to add to this right now, so i'm sorry to all the diary police.
Obviously, everyone, especially those in blue-dog districts, should also express your views to your representative on this matter, as team Obama has been urging you to do for the budget for more-than-a-few-days-now.
I would say, while making the blue dogs ballsier than they should/would be, I must admit, I sort of like it as it only marginalizes republican support. I'm fine with blue dogs instead of baby cantors and vitters from purple states. If only republican voters were also marginalized in blue dog states, I'd be all for this. As it stands, I see this as meaning that republican-supported blue dogs need STRONG primary challengers, as they'll find their sudden support in Obama opposition mysteriously drying up a couple polling points next election assuming these 'redstate sf' supporters vote for the republican anyway. Anyhoo, much to think about, but thought I'd share.
UPDATE: blueyescryinintherain in the comments pointed out that this one representative may not be a blue dog, and I just wanted to point out to everyone that redstate appears to be targeting blue-dog, red-state, conservative, AND/OR weak dems and then names your representative by the zip code you registered on their site with. I don't think ALL emails going out are targeting only Yarmuth, that is the email recipient's area.
