From MSNBC.com:
The prime minister of the Czech Republic says it could have been his taste for the rock group AC/DC — not his study of economics — that inspired him to describe President Barack Obama's nearly $2 trillion economic plan as "the road to hell."
"Last week, AC/DC played the Czech Republic," Mirek Topolanek told the Lidove Noviny daily newspaper Friday. "And their cult song 'Highway to Hell' may have influenced me to use, in my very improvised speech, 'the road to hell.'"
He went on to say, "Well, Hell's Bells I was Thunderstruck by the outrage of the American Public. You really Shook Me All Night Long by reacting so negatively." Mister Topolanke than extended his comments to thoughts on debt in the United States, saying, "The Europe Union needs assurances that the U.S. will be Back in Black within ten years. Right now MoneyTalks. I'm ready to give President Obama the benefit of the doubt Are You Ready?"
EU President Topolanke main focus is the re-regulation of the Financial System, saying that in the ten year run-up to the current recession, "Dirty Deeds Were Done Dirt Cheap and we need to figure out Who Made Who. Wall Street gambled and lost, and is now expecting the world to Bail them out." Adding, "It's tantamount to a Nervous Shakedown."
Finally, on Afghanistan, Topolanke cautioned that Obama better bring a "Big Gun and keep a Stiff Upper Lip." He said his thoughts were with American troops overseas, "For Those ABout to Rock, We Salute You."
