Republican Congressman Rob Bishop of Utah has erotic violence on the brain. Here's what he said about the omnibus environmental bill that is awaiting a vote in the House:
"Somebody described the whole thing to me like this: You purchase a book that is full of erotic violence because you like a paragraph on page 242. The overall package is still bad."
So, Congressman, 'Somebody,', perhaps a 'friend' described it that way to you, huh? By the way, how many books filled with 'erotic violence' are on your bookshelves? What constitutes 'erotic violence' anyway? The two words seem a bit contradictory. You aren't talking about rape, I hope.
Sort of ironic that the good people of Utah have been singled out in a study for watching a disproportionate amount of pornography.
By the way, who reads pornographic books anymore? Did you really buy all those books just because they contained a paragraph you liked? Or is that what you tell people? Just curious.
