While my headline is technically correct, the file that includes the update indicates that all ballots have been counted in Warren and Columbia. However, only 225 votes have been added to the tally. In Ken of Texas earlier diary, he had indicated there were still 235 votes, plus 45 set asides left to be counted. Props to Ken for some excellent analysis and insider knowledge.
Obviously, either the set asides haven't been counted and 10 more were challenged, or the set asides were counted and 55 challenges were added to the pile.
Either way, Murphy still has a +273 lead and the only way to change that is allow at least some of the 1700-1800 challenged ballots. It is unclear how Tedisco intends to un-challenge only those who he suspects voted for his campaign, but unfortunately for him, that is all he's left with. Fortunately for us, all that's left now is adjudication, and it's difficult to see things going his way and changing positively for Tedisco. My guess is that about 60 to 70% of the challenged ballots will favor Murphy, which would add about 500 to 550 votes to Murphy's tally, consistent with both "Ken of TX" assessments and Nate Silver's.
